Sustainable Gifts That Start Conversations: Elephant Poop Paper Products

Consider this: sustainable gifts made from elephant poop. We’ve only just begun and you’re already hooked. These unique elephant poop paper products are handmade, colored using natural soy-based inks, all by local artisans in Thailand. They provide a lovely and environmentally friendly substitute for traditional paper gifts. In addition to being a great conversation starter, these elephant dung paper products has had many positive effects on the environment.

Handmade Paper Making Process

POOPOOPAPER™ transforms elephant dung into paper in Thailand with the help of their local artisans that do it all by hand. Our local artisans collect the dung from an elephant sanctuary after it has been excreted, with no harm to the elephants. The collected waste is then disinfected and dried so that the animal waste fibers can be extracted from it.

Then, the elephant poop fibers along with seasonal agricultural waste fibers like banana fibers and corn husks that are available are boiled into a goopy pulp. All natural soy-based inks are then added to the pulp to change its color depending on the needs of the particular product. Then, the elephant poop paper is laid out to dry. Once dry, the team of artisans cut the paper into various sizes and sheets to make different paper products that are turned into the most wonderful sustainable gifts.

Turning dung, which is thought to be useless to the human mind, into a resource that raises the standards of a living community and the entire planet is an innovative idea. It makes a difference in sustainability and societal responsibility.

Why Choose Elephant Poop Paper Products?

  • Sustainable material: The resource of elephant dung is replenishable. Every day, elephants create a large amount of dung, which is recycled into paper by POOPOOPAPER™ without endangering the environment.
  • Less garbage: By turning manure into paper, we decrease the amount of garbage that would otherwise wind up in landfills. This helps to create a more eco-friendly waste management system.
  • Reduced carbon footprint: There’s no carbon footprint in the production process of handmade paper from elephant dung. On the other hand, conventional paper production sources frequently require deforestation and high energy use.

By choosing sustainable gifts made by POOPOOPAPER™, you are not just sending your loved ones a gift but also contributing to the world’s sustainable efforts!
